I have tried meeting women in public place, ie, malls, stores, diners, even at work. They are either too old or too young or too married. And the ones that arent married, dont want to be in a commited relationship. Have tried many of the dating sights and found the same thing.

Well, its now down to two women, one of them asked me for my checking account number....so that kind of lets me know where her head was at. So the one I was chatting with in the UK is history. As far as the other 2 go, "being involved" is no more than being online with them. They both seem like nice women and we have been chatting for over a year. Yes, I do have some feelings for both of them, but there has been no really serious talk yet.

Also...have looked around lately at the US girls, (which is where I am.) At one time it was the guys who wanted nothing but sex with no commitment, now its the women here who dont want commitment. I am 52 and tired of finding women who do not want to commit. At least the foreign women I have met still seem to have morals and a sense of relationship and want commitment.

I have been involved online for about 1-1/2 years with 2 females in Nigeria and 1 in England. While I feel I have gotten to know them pretty well and we all seem to have strong feelings for each other, I can't help but think I am being scammed by them. I guess its simply that I am having troube trusting them totally. I would like a to meet some one who is marriage minded and willing to come here to the US to be with me....but I am just not sure of their sincereity.

Please share your good and bad experiences as I am sure I could learn alot from others. Thanks so much.

when I was in high school, I had a crush on a math teacher... she was lie fresh out of college on her first real teaching assignment. she was young and pretty and petite. Unfortunately, she was a math teacher and math was always my worst subject. We became good friends and I now wish I had tried to take our friendship to the next level..but alas...its too late now. (She was only about 4 or 5 years older than me at that time.) Which would have raised a few heads back then, but now it would mean nothing. Ah...if i could only go backin time....LOL

I think Paris is a beautiful woman who has made some mistakes. we have all made mistakes, some big, some small. Her mistakes are more noticeable becasue of her wealthy status in life. I think if she were able to put these mistakes behind her and really straighten up, she would be a wonderful person. I really wish I could speak to her in person sometimes and let here see first hand that money is not everything, and you dont need it to be happy. Hopefully, she will eventually see that all her money cannot buy her love, a faithful husband, or true happiness.

I can play drums, guitar, bass, and harmonica. I really do not have a favorite, but I guess you could say that it depends what type of mood I am in. I do not play, but I also like the piano, flute, and some brass. I like violins depending on the type of music played. I like organ music that is not overly synthesized. Some of my favorite bands/musicians are Beatles, Grand Funk, Aerosmith, Joe Cocker, Charlie Daniels, Bily Joel, Peter Frampton, Avril Levine, many of the Motown Artists...and the list goes on and on. I have a very wide taste in music...from classical to country, from blues to rock, etc etc. The only music I really do not like is rap, hip-hop, and opera. I can even tolerate some disco....LOL

I think almost everyone at one time or another wishes they could go back in time. I too would like to back in time to rectify some mistakes I have made in life. More so however, I would like to go back in time for historical reasons. I wouldl have loved to be there when Moses freed the Herews, I would have loved seeing the roman ruins before they were ruined. To see all the inventions being invented and to possibly spread some of todays technology. I would love it. Maybe someday time machines willbe in every home...like microwaves and coffee makers. I hope I see that day.

I am a 55 year old male. (I suppose to some, this means I'm a dirty old man.) I do not hide the fact that I am very much into Anime. I have gigs of anime backgrounds on all my computers at work and at home. At work I change my anime wallpaper every week and everyone at work always comes in to see which girl I have on my screen.

I guess you can say Anime is one of my hobbies, I also have tried to create my own anime wallpaper - (am still learning and working on it.) I have not watched any anime series and I do not follow any one particular character, but i do have some favorite characters, Onegai Teacher, for one.

I guess to some people, maybe I am a bit too old for this, but I consider it the same as collecting any other type of art. I love the backgrounds and love the way the eyes and hair are drawn on the characters....of course the hot, sexy, figures and or clothing on some of them is a definate plus also.

Does God exist? Yes.

Can it be proven? Yes, it is proven everyday. But a big part of believeing in God or in any religion is faith...and as it says in the movie, "Faith is believing in something that common sense tells you not to."

As far as power is concerned. I would think that since God is all powerful, all knowing, and always present, and since he has planned all things and knows what is to happen, I would think that His power would always be ahead. If we grow, so does He. No matter how powerful we, (or anything,) becomes, He will always be ahead of it. so yes, His power can increase as it needs to.

Can God make 1+1=242458? If one day for God can be as 1000 years for us, then of course he could make 1+1=more than 2. According to Genesis, God created the world in 6 days...maybe those 6 days are to = 6000 years or 60,000 years. Just because we calculate our day in 24 hour hour increments, doesnt mean God calculates the same way. Even today, depending what calendar is used, the year is different. ie., Chinese calendar, Hebrew calendar, etc etc.

I am going to turn this debate around a bit. Being the "parent" and having two childen 19 and 21, and also being a lover of arts, music and anime, I find myself defending my anime hobby to my kids. I collect anime pc wallpapers, scrolls, posters and cards. My son, 19, has no interest in anime art and pretty much leaves me alone with my hobby. My daughter, 21, however, dislikes my taste in anime.

I like almost all types and forms of anime. My daughter says I am being perverted and finds the time I spend with my hobby a waste of time. She even gets upset when I put an anime wall on my computer.
I have argued with her about this - telling her its a hobby of collecting anime art. And I stress that Anime IS an ART. She disagrees.

So you see....in my case the shoe is on the other foot. Just thought I'd share it here with those who might understand my point too.

Seriously though, Despite the fact that the Romans main form of execution was crucifiction, It was imperative that Christ be crucified. Christ came to die for our sins. To wash away our sins, His blood had to be shed. Hanging or being stoned to death, would not necessarily accomplished this shedding of blood. Christ was the Lamb of God just as in the Old Testament the hebrews would sacrifice a lamb by shedding its blood as a sacrifce to God. Christ shed His blood as a sacrfice to God for our sins. Lastly, Christ death was prophesied in the Old Testament Book of Isiah, chapter 53. His death had to fulfill the prophecy of the Messiah.

To learn from another artist is not wrong. If it were wrong, many PBS stations would stop showing those lern to paint shows. I too have learned the techique of oil painting in the Bob Ross style. So to learn from another is nothing wrong because as you learn, you begin to develop your own techniques and create what is in your world. Art is a very personal thing that an artist decides to share with others. I think one of the greatest compliments to an artist is to learn from them.

As far as to improvise on some one else's art, I guess that depends on what and how you are improvising. There are many people who can copy or repaint the Mona Lisa - but that does not take away from the original art. As I stated earlier, art is what the artist sees, feels, and does in his own world...you may copy it and make it to your world and what you see and feel...this does not make it wrong to do so....in fact, you could say that one art work inspired the other.

I submitted my wall On a Monday afternoon, it was accepted and posted, then that evening was quarrantined. Why? I thought I finally made it through all the qualifications. What was wrong with it now?

Yes, it does help. I now understand the differences in extracting from an original vs another work. Now that I am aware of this I will stick to using original scans. Also, at first, understanding the whole size and height/ratio thing...i think I've got it now - thanks so much.

I am presently trying to teach myself Photoshop CS. I actually created my very first and very crude anime wallpaper using a combination ofPhotoshop CS and CorelDraw. I hope to get better soon, but have a couple of questions.

1) Say I download a wall from MT. Import it into Photoshop, How do I make the background transparent?

2) My recently created anime wallpaper cannot be posted on MT because the sizing is not right, how do I correct the sizing on a wall thats already done?

Any suggestions and/or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a similar tale. My girlfriend and I hit it off from day 1. We had lots in common, we enjoyed each others company and I came really love her. She is very beautiful, (was a model at one time,) and is divorced and has 2 children. Anyway, here I am, also divorced with 2 children, who is everything a girl would want in a guy. I am a gentleman, honest, hard working, polite, kind, never ever abusive, always there to help anyone in need. Would set a good example and be a role model to her children and accecpt them as my own.

Anyway, whenever I turn my back, she hooks up with the lowest possible life forms ever. Worse yet, she has even allowed them to move in with her on several occasions. She picks addicts and ex addicts, low lifes with no jobs, no security, abusers who either physically or mentally abuser her.

At first, I thought this will pass, she will see how rotten they are and how good I am and come back to me. Well she didnt come back unless it was to use me for something. Finally, after 4 years - I gave her the boot. She is on her own now. Her low life boyfriend who she is sooooo deeply in love with, doesnt even have a steady job, doesnt even have his own place, is an ex crack addict, and wastes his money on beer and tatoos. He doesnt even own a car - she does.

So, I figure, she is one of those people who need to be with someone worse than she is to make herself feel good. She is one of those who will always go for the bad boy no matter how nice or good you are.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why them and not me. I have cried my eyes out, and lost sleep over her. Believe me, it was very hard to let her go - but after 4 years of constant worry and stress - I let her go. Best thing I ever did. So hang in there Al. You will find someone who doesnt put you through all this stuff when the time is right.

OK, so we are all interested in Anime, after all, this is an Anime web site. But what first attracted you to Anime? I know for many guys, it wwas the beautiful sexy looking anime girls. But there are many women Anime fans out there also. I am a 50 year old male who originally was attracted several years ago by the anime girls, but I have always been interested in art. I have done some computer graphics and some oil painting, and photography, so soon after my initial interest, I became interested in the art, the backgrounds, the girls faces and poses and the colors. Please share with me your reasons or stories on how you got into Anime and if possible, include whether you are male or female and your age. I am doing this for my own curiousity and personal research. Thanks so much for your opinions, stories, and comments.

Lets face it, the US is losing the war against drugs because our government is in business to make money. (It was the government who began introducing drugs, (marijuana,) into the black and poor ghetto communities of the southern US first - to keep evryone docile and in place.)

We, (the US) should go against places like Columbia and some of the other drug supplying countries with the same vigor we go in and fight for oil. Give these countries an ultimatum...stop shipping to the US or face war - real war. Of course we wont do that - we also get coffee from Columbia too. And we sure couldnt live without that!

We should stop all this nonsense and mamby pamby punishment too. Let the US do what other countries do - if you are caught pushing of traffiking drugs - you are executed period.

But of course we wont do that either. Why? Money and the economy, thats why. Do you know how many rehab centers, doctors, lawyers. hospitals. counselors, and social workers would be unemployed if it werent for the junkies, prostitues, and dopers? Not to forget the drug enforcement, customs, and security people would all be out of work too.

Lastly...we wont stop it...we cant stop it....think of all the politicians who use the stuff too. They would never have it stopped.

Really tough question put here. Now, if they were all real live human beings, the choice might be easier because they would all have different personalities. Since they are all anime, very beautiful, sexy and hot - and do not reflect the typical real life humans in looks or actions, its very hard to choose. I like the girls from Onegai Teacher but i also like Love Hina, Nasume, Nanako, Misata and a whole lot more of them.

Love. Lust, Attraction, Sex.....yep, want it all....and if its all at first sight, even better!

Despite the fact that most of the popular anime are sexy looking, hot babes, I think that they do teach some morals and some very valuable life lesson. They do teach right from worng, and show the good side from the evil side. They teach truthful lessons for a real life. From the beginings of animation with characters like Speed Racer and some of the other older animes, the lessons are always there and morality is certainly one of them.

As a Christian, (not catholic), we are taught to be as Christ-like as possible. Would Christ have killed anyone, NO. Therefore killing is wrong whether it be for religious reasons or not. The early religious wars involving the Roman Catholic Church should tell you something right away. Roman catholicismwas formed combining the present beliefs of the early followers of Christ and the pagan religions of Rome. Christ himself warned us, "Beware of the antichrist who is already in the world." can you figure out who the antichrist is?
